Typical applications are the reconstitution or stabilization of milk in the production of dairy products and dissolving sugar for the production of syrup in the ice cream industry.
MATRIX HSB is a compact unit, consisting of a centrifugal pump with Venturi system in lateral suction and a hopper with butterfly valve in the upper part to add solids/powders to the pumped liquid. In this blender, the suction and venturity system are positioned horizontally.
The Venturi system and the pump suction create depression at the base of the hopper. When the hopper valve opens, the solids are sucked into the hopper and completely dissolve the pump body as they pass.
To obtain the best possible dissolution, it is recommended to recirculate the product (batch production) until the solid/powder product is exhausted and then, when the solid product is completely incorporated into the liquid, continue to recirculate the product for a while. In some cases, the blender can be used inline depending on the solid product to be added and the level of dissolution required.
